Professional Experience
Mr. Jacks is the Principal Planner for the San Antonio region. Previously, he was the Planning Manager for the City of San Antonio, Development Services Department. His primary responsibility included organizing and supervising the coordination and administration of the City’s zoning procedures. Prior to that, he served as a Planner for the City of New Braunfels, Texas.
Mr. Jacks has worked in the zoning and planning area of real estate development since his graduation from Texas State University.
Details of Practice
Municipal Approvals. Mr. Jacks represents owners and developers in the entitlement process, including development planning, annexation, zoning, analysis of applicable regulations, and environmental issues. He has extensive experience in evaluating and facilitating development projects in the City of San Antonio. He has assisted with all types of real estate projects from residential, commercial and industrial developments to complex master planned communities. He has worked closely with environmental interest groups, neighborhood associations, city staff, city council, and boards and commissions throughout the development process.
